Last year we were able to provide wreaths for 1,500 of the approximately 13,000 gravesites in the Fernley cemetery.  This year, as we continue this noble endeavor, we hope to provide wreaths for even more of the gravesites.  The number of gravesites at our cemetery is growing at a rate of about 400 per year.  Thankfully, there are other organizations that support this effort, but every year it can be a struggle to fund wreaths for all the grave sites.  

 

Our goal is to eventually provide wreaths for 25% of the gravesites on a sustainable basis.  Once we meet this goal, we intend to begin supporting other local veteran causes like The Veterans House, which provides free housing for veterans and their families while receiving medical attention at the Reno VA Hospital, Purple Heart Dinner, scholarships for deserving veterans and their children.
