The Inaugural Purple Heart Dinner held in 2023 was an extraordinary success, marked by a profound sense of camaraderie, the presence of outstanding individuals, and a celebration of the valiant individuals who have fought for our country. The event was graced by the esteemed Air Force Major General Ondra L. Berry, who serves as the Adjutant General for the State of Nevada. General Berry's keynote address was nothing short of inspiring, captivating the audience with his eloquence and providing a poignant tribute to the Purple Heart recipients. We were truly honored to have such a distinguished speaker who added immeasurable value to the evening.

The success of the event would not have been possible without the generous support of our platinum sponsors, David Morgan and Brendon Donovan, whose commitment to honoring our veterans was evident throughout the evening. Additionally, our heartfelt gratitude extends to our four-star sponsors, including Tony & Diane Martinez, Mark & Janice Bailey, Mike & Chris Mazzaferri, and the Nevada Veterans Coalition, whose contributions played a pivotal role in making the event a resounding success. Special recognition is also due to our three-star sponsors, Wanda Brown and Frank Greenwood with Community for Veterans, for their unwavering support.

We express our sincere appreciation to our two-star sponsor, Bob Weise, and our two one-star sponsors, Kristopher Dahir with the City of Sparks and Patrick & Sara Schmitz. Their commitment to our cause was instrumental in making the evening memorable. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the volunteers and the dedicated staff at the Club at Arrowcreek for their hard work and dedication, ensuring the seamless execution of the event.

As we reflect on the success of the Inaugural Purple Heart Dinner, we eagerly anticipate the 2024 1st Annual Purple Heart Dinner in the Paradise Room at the Atlantis. The upcoming event promises to build upon the triumphs of the inaugural dinner, with an even grander setting and an atmosphere that befits the occasion. We encourage everyone to mark their calendars and join us in honoring those who have received the Purple Heart, expressing our profound gratitude and appreciation for their sacrifices.

In closing, the Purple Heart Dinner is more than just an event; it is a heartfelt tribute to the heroes who have given so much for our country. We extend our deepest thanks to all who contributed to the success of the 2023 dinner, and we look forward to the continued support as we prepare for another unforgettable evening in 2024. Together, we can ensure that the sacrifices of our Purple Heart recipients are never forgotten, and their courage and dedication are celebrated in the most meaningful way possible.
